If You’re Interested in Graduate Programs in Counseling…

As you already know, the Counseling One Another blog is built upon the philosophy that counseling is the normal work of believers in the local church. However, this does not mean we do not enthusiastically support and even promote formal training in this important area of ministry for those who desire it. In fact, it continues to be a great privilege to teach counseling courses at several seminaries both here in the States and abroad. Twice in the past month, I’ve found myself doing just that.

“Foundations of Biblical Counseling” was taught at Calvary Bible College & Theological Seminary in Kansas City. And this past week I found myself recording 8 hours of lecture for an upcoming online course in the Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling program at Northland International University in northern Wisconsin.

So, if you are thinking of getting more intensive equipping for the personal ministry of counseling, I commend both of these schools for your consideration. Of course, there are many excellent schools and programs (see training centers on right side menu), but these are two that I am more involved with on a personal level. Be sure to check them out!
