DADs 1:12 – Disabled Children & Biblical Doctrine

by Paul Tautges | November 19, 2011 4:46 am

As the father of four hearing-impaired children, one of whom has other yet-unidentifiable genetic issues going on, I really appreciated this post from Justin Taylor[1]. Been there. Done that. Oh, yeah…still doing that.

Fellow dad, do you fully embrace the sovereignty and wisdom of God in perfectly knitting (according to His definition) disabled children in His art studio—the womb?

Ponder Exodus 4:11 and give all praise to God who makes no mistakes! Remember the power of God is made more visible in weakness (2 Cor 12:9).

Also, if you’ve not read Greg Lucas’s little, fast-reading book, Wrestling with an Angel[2], you really should.
