Allow us to experience joy and gladness so that the bones you have crushed because of our sin may rejoice. Say to each one of us, Son, daughter, celebrate! Your sins are all forgiven! (Ps 51:8; Matt 9:2).
Let the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse our conscience from deeds of death, so we can offer acceptable service to you, the living God. Let your Spirit bear constant witness to our spirit that we are your children. Assure us that we are your heirs, heirs of God, and co-heirs with Christ. Speak reassuringly to our spirits, affirming that you are our salvation. (Heb 9:14; Rom 8:16,17; Ps 35:3).
