Adele and Her Message[1] – “Unlike the lyrics of Adele, Jesus says come to me when you are overwhelmed, struggling with burdens you cannot bear. Jesus says come to me and find rest and peace. His music does more than resonate, it heals.”
The Most Essential Life Skill: Teachability[2] – Thanks, David. I’ve come to the same conclusion.
The Surprising Beauty of Falling Apart[3] – “When I come to the end of myself, I find Jesus there. Do you find yourself falling apart? Are you discovering that you’re worse than you thought and weaker than you imagined? Don’t run. Don’t hide. It’s a beautiful thing to fall apart. It turns out that when Jesus is all you’ve got, Jesus is all you need.” Thanks, Stephen. I could have written this.
Three Keys when Confronting Someone[4] – Rick Thomas writes, “Too often confrontation connotes harshness, unkindness, difficult corrective measures, and conflict. Perhaps you have experienced some of those things when you were confronted by someone. Confrontation does not have to consist of those things.”
