This is one of the most common questions I receive when people contact me through this blog. Therefore, I recommend you visit the websites of the following biblical counseling organizations.
- The ACBC[1] (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) maintains a list of certified biblical counselors. Their list is searchable by zip code. You can visit it at Find a Counselor[2].
- CCEF[3] (Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation) can be contacted at intake@ccef.org[4] for information regarding CCEF trained biblical counselors. You can also visit their Counseling Services[5] page to get counseling through CCEF directly.
- IABC[6] (International Association of Biblical Counselors) maintains a list of certified biblical counselors. Their list is searchable by states and includes 8 countries. You can visit it at Find a Counselor[7]
- ABC[8] (Association of Biblical Counselors) has a biblical counseling network, which serves as a database of churches and individuals who are dedicated to Jesus Christ, the eternal message of the Gospel, and who take seriously the work of biblical counseling.
