BCC 15:14 Podcast with Dr. Bob Somerville[1], author of If I’m a Christian, Why Am I Depressed? Depression is one of the “forbidden admissions” among many Bible believing Christians. Many suffer in silence for fear of rejection or, worse yet, personal attack. In the past, I have experienced both destructive responses. Therefore, I commend this transparent podcast to you. I personally counseled with Dr. Somerville in the early months of 2012, and I know that his transparent testimony will help and encourage you.

Truth in Love: How to Approach New Medical Research with Drs. Dan and Pam Gannon[2] – Is medical research bad? Does marketing sometimes outpace research? What are medical pitfalls we might need to avoid? This episode answers these and more questions on this important topic.

HOPE + HELP for Grief Care with Nancy Guthrie[3] – In this episode, Christine Chappell discusses Nancy’s book, What Grieving People Wish You Knew about What Really Helps (and What really Hurts) to better understand the raw emotions people face as they experience grief, and to learn how to compassionately and confidently interact with those who are mourning the loss of a loved one.
