NUGGETS OF WISDOM (November 15th)

Here are some nuggets of wisdom to help you grow in grace and truth as you minister God’s Word to one another. “Wisdom is worth more than silver; it brings more profit than gold” (Prov. 3:14).

Beholding Beauty Devotional: Isaiah 26:3-4[1] – Jesus tells us that in Him we can experience peace. In order for us to know what that shalom was like in the Garden of Eden prior to the fall, we must go to Christ, because it is only in Him that we will experience it!

Not Easily Offended[2] – People in the church are so easily offended that they are ready to write off another believer over the most insignificantly offensive word or actions. This betrays the fact that we have not learned to bear long with one another and to forgive one another. We have developed thin skin and speck-fixated eyes.

What Is the Fear of God?[3] – It is divine forgiveness and our justification by faith alone that turns our natural dread of God as sinners into the fearful, trembling adoration of beloved children.
