Mr. Tautges, I believe you missed two important resources: The Undistracted Widow Living for God after Losing Your Husband by Carol Cornish (Crossway) and B. M. Palmer’s Death in the Home: A Christian Father Responds to Loss (Reformed Academic Press. Obviously others could be mentioned.

I appreciate your lists of recommended resources. It is helpful to see a bunch of books etc. in one place and be able to find one that would be best in the specific situation. Grief is something we all deal with some time in life. Thanks for sharing.
